FAQs

1. Will my child still get enough individual attention in such a large pool?

Yes! With a maximum of 36 players, the coaching staff can provide individualized attention to each player. Our experienced coaches are skilled in managing a large group while ensuring every athlete receives focused development, both on and off the field.

2. How are players placed in different positions or roles?

Players will have the opportunity to train in various positions and take on different roles depending on their skill set and development needs. This rotational approach builds versatility, helping players become well-rounded athletes. Additionally, players may take on leadership or follower roles based on who they are playing with during that time period, and their development and readiness for such roles.

3. Can my child continue to play high school soccer and participate in this program?

Absolutely! This pool structure allows for seamless integration with the two different fall and winter high school soccer seasons, so players can train and compete consistently throughout the fall and winter seasons without interruptions. We offer flexibility to ensure players stay sharp in both environments.

4. How do you handle injuries or absences?

With a larger pool, there’s more depth to the team, which means injuries or player absences have less impact on the overall training and playing experience. We ensure that every player continues their development, even if they are temporarily unavailable for games or practices.

5. What if my child plays multiple sports or has other commitments?

One of the key benefits of this structure is that it provides flexibility for multi-sport athletes and players with other commitments. With a larger player pool, the team’s schedule allows for adjustments to accommodate family and other sporting activities without sacrificing development or team cohesion.

6. How will this structure help my child be noticed by college scouts?

The high-level competition and targeted events ensure players have more opportunities to be seen. By playing and training in a competitive, talented group, players can showcase their skills and increase their chances of being recruited by college programs.

7. What happens if my child is not performing at the same level as the other players?

We place players based on individual readiness, ensuring that they are always challenged but not overwhelmed. Players can move between different levels of the pool based on their development and progress, allowing them to grow at their own pace. Our coaching staff is skilled in tailoring training to individual needs.

8. How do you determine playing time for each player?

Playing time is determined based on a combination of factors, including effort, attitude, practice performance, practice attendance, and team needs. Our coaching staff is committed to ensuring that every player gets meaningful playing time to help them develop. We also rotate players in various positions and roles to ensure they get diverse playing experiences.

9. How often will my child practice?

Practices typically occur multiple times per week, depending on the time of year and competition schedule. We aim to balance training intensity and recovery time to keep players at their peak performance. The exact schedule will be communicated in advance.

10. Will my child be traveling for competitions?

Yes, there will be opportunities for travel to competitive events and tournaments. Travel is an important part of developing high-level athletes, as it provides exposure to different styles of play and competition. We’ll provide plenty of notice and work to make travel arrangements as convenient as possible.

11. How does the team handle communication about schedules, events, and any changes?

We use a centralized communication platform where parents and players will receive timely updates on practice schedules, games, and any changes. In addition, coaches are always available to answer questions directly. We encourage open communication to ensure families are informed and can plan accordingly.

12. What if my child has a conflict or needs time off due to other commitments?

We understand that our players have other commitments outside of soccer. Flexibility is key, and we ask that families communicate any scheduling conflicts as early as possible. We strive to accommodate other sports, school events, or personal situations while still prioritizing team development and growth.

13. Are there any additional fees beyond the registration and training costs?

We strive to be transparent with all fees. In addition to the registration and training costs, there may be additional fees for tournaments, travel, and uniforms. A breakdown of these costs will be provided ahead of time to avoid any surprises.

14. How do you assess player development?

Player development is tracked through both individual progress and team performance. We conduct regular evaluations to assess technical skills, tactical understanding, physical development, and mental readiness.

15. What’s the team’s philosophy or style of play?

Our team emphasizes a style of play that is fast-paced, technical, and intelligent. We focus on possession-based soccer, quick transitions, and a team-first mentality. Each player is encouraged to develop strong technical skills and a deep understanding of the game’s tactical elements.

16. How do you manage team dynamics and culture?

We emphasize the importance of a positive team culture where respect, communication, and a growth mindset are prioritized. Our coaches focus on developing both individual skills and team cohesion. Team-building exercises, off-field activities, and clear expectations of behavior are part of ensuring a positive environment for all players.
