Jose Escandon is a dedicated soccer coach and former player from Flagstaff, Arizona, with a rich history in both playing and coaching.
Playing Career
Escandon began his soccer journey at Coconino High School in Flagstaff, where he played as a goalkeeper and midfielder. He served as team captain and was recognized for his impressive goals-against average, ranking 53rd nationally during his tenure.
After high school, he continued his soccer career at Mesa Community College, representing the Thunderbirds in 2014.
Coaching Career
Following his playing days, Escandon transitioned into coaching, bringing his on-field experience to the sidelines. He currently serves as an assistant coach for the Coconino High School Panthers varsity soccer team, contributing to the development of young athletes in his hometown.
His commitment to the sport extends beyond coaching, as he has also been involved in volunteer roles within the soccer community.

Jose comes from a family deeply connected to soccer. His brother, Alejandro Escandon, was a captain for the Coconino High School soccer team, illustrating the family's passion for the sport.
