Keith Hovis

Coach Keith Hovis brings over 15 years of coaching experience to the Premier Player Pool, having worked extensively at both the high school and club levels. His expertise lies in player development, fostering team success, and creating a competitive culture that prepares athletes for success at the highest levels of competition.

In 2023, Coach Hovis co-founded the Northern Arizona Altitude, a team competing in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), where he serves as one of the coaches. This initiative offers female athletes in Northern Arizona the opportunity to compete at a high level and develop their skills further.

Since 2017, Coach Hovis has co-led the Northland Preparatory Academy (NPA) girls' soccer team, leading them to six Arizona 2A State Championships and multiple regional titles. His coaching efforts have earned him several Coach of the Year honors at both the conference and regional levels, reflecting his dedication to developing successful, well-rounded teams.

In addition to his work with high school teams, Coach Hovis has been instrumental in developing youth programs with AYSO United, AYSO Challenge, and AYSO Revolution. Under his guidance, these teams have experienced success at the regional and national levels, including a runner-up finish at the 2022 Presidents Cup West Regional.

With USSF D and E Licenses, Coach Hovis is deeply committed to the growth of young athletes. He emphasizes technical skill, tactical understanding, and leadership development, ensuring that players are prepared for the challenges of advanced soccer competition.

Through his involvement with the Premier Player Pool, Coach Hovis provides a collaborative coaching environment that emphasizes consistency, adaptability, and exposure to high-level training and competition. His experience in coaching collegiate-level athletes and building championship-winning teams makes him a valuable asset to the Club Premier program.
