Coach Scott James brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in youth soccer development to the Club Premier Player Pool. With a strong background in coaching various age groups, Coach James has been instrumental in nurturing young talent and fostering a love for the game.
As an Assistant Coach for the Coconino High School Panthers Soccer Team, Coach James has contributed to the development of high school athletes, helping them achieve their full potential on and off the field.
In addition to his high school coaching role, Coach James has been actively involved with Flagstaff Soccer Club (FSC), where he has coached teams across various age groups. Notably, he led the FSC 08 Boys and the FSC 11 Girls, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to youth soccer development.
Coach James's dedication to excellence was recognized when he was nominated for the 2023 Coach of the Year by AYSO United Arizona, reflecting his commitment to fostering both personal and athletic growth in his players.
With a coaching philosophy centered on holistic player development, Coach James emphasizes technical skills, tactical understanding, and character building.
